As I started to write this section of the site I put together a biography that would have had you falling asleep at the computer, so instead, here's some bullet points to keep it short and snappy!
Personal:
- Born in 1974
- Have a beautiful daughter called Paris, who was born in 2001.
- Live in the West Midlands
- Love time with Paris
- Interested in personal development
- Passionate about helping others through my talks
Career:
- Worked as a barman, graphic designer and IT geek!
- Have worked in small businesses and PLCs
- Ran my own business for four years
Some of my achievements to date:
- Being father to the best daughter I could possibly wish for
- Being a good enough friend to be asked to be Godfather to a friend's son
- Have been asked by friends for advice in times of challenges in their lives
- I am a brother worth travelling over a thousand miles to see for just one night
Memory achievements to date:
- Memorised and recalled Pi (3.14159) to 1,250 decimal places. Forwards and backwards! See here (Yes, I know I need to get out more!)
- Finalist on the Great British Memory Test on ITV (missed out on £10,000 through not being selected - I knew the answer too!)
- Currently in top 2% of entrants in the 'World Memory Challenge' - see here
- Winning money off gullible friends by memorising playing cards ;o)
Favourite Stuff:
- Sound: My daughter laughing
- Pastime: Socialising with family and/or friends
- Colour: Er, black
- Food: Fillet Steak
- Car: Aston Martin, either latest V8 Vantage or DB9
- Film: Too many to choose from and it changes regularly!
- Song: No one song in particular, like both George Michael and swing/big band
